One day at a time

Would you believe me if I said I am graduating in May? Because I wouldn't. I honestly am so shocked on how quickly time has flown by. Just yesterday I was sitting on the couch in the lobby of my freshman dorm building, creating this website. Now here I am, 21 years old typing from work.

I was thinking of all of the things I did throughout college, and all of the things I didn't do. I feel like my first two years I was someone I knew from afar, but my last two years really showed me the Carla I wish I knew long ago. I can't believe that I entered college at 17 years old. I was so young and so oblivious, I had a concept of what the world was and I stayed in it. I never knew it would take me so long to really open my eyes to life, but here I am, enjoying every bit of it.

As of right now I am studying for the DAT and studying for my courses, which is not as easy as I'd hope it would be. It sort of seems like I am in a show, where someone is documenting my progress, which is not very impressive to be honest. But here I am! Hopefully in a couple of weeks I will make a blog post about my DAT score! Besides that, I have really just been going with the flow and taking life a day at a time. I suggest you should too!
