Rainy Day

On a day like this when the rain is so sad and powerful, I feel a little uneasy. On a day like this when rain and tears sound like a perfect harmony, for some reason I feel thankful. I hope today isn’t the last time it rains so loud that I feel like I’ve found my match. With a sound so peaceful yet thrilling, I feel at ease and uneasy. Maybe the rain is our friend getting back to us and we never knew. Or maybe the rain comes when we’ve hurt so bad and they’ve decided to take over. Like a break from crying, and a scenery that mirrors our emotions. A mirrored imaged so pleasing yet confusing. I hope it rains again, so I can feel the love pouring.
