Remember me

Today is your birthday and I never got to wish you a happy one. You are my entire life yet I don't think we've ever met. I thought our meeting was a dream for so long until I realized it was a memory. A memory not many can have, but it was important for both of us. A story I can never forget, and a moment you might have glanced upon without knowing it'd be our last. I wish sometimes I would be able to go back in time and just hear the way you spoke, maybe I sound like you? I will never know. Today is a day where we both can smile, just from different places. I'll always have two reasons to be happy on the 15th, I hope you know the second one.
